Take a stroll through the Flying Monkey artist market at Lowe Mill. Saturday is when all the artists are there working and selling, and our local favorite Piper and Leaf will satisfy you tea needs.

Take a one-hour road trip to the Unclaimed Baggage center in Scottsboro, Alabama. It's a thrift shop that collects and resales unclaimed baggage from airports across the country. Lots of cheap weird finds to be had.

Visit the Botanical Garden - The Huntsville Botanical garden has many seasonal displays and is a great place to get in touch with nature.

Hike at Monte Sano - there are a couple of great hiking spots nearby, if weather permits.

Hang out at Big Spring Park. Historic Downtown Huntsville is quite pretty and Big Spring is the water source the town was once built around back before it was Rocket City.
