All Levels Competition
Details
PRELIMS:
Leads and follows dance 3 Jazz Blues songs, rotating partners at random between songs.
FINALS:
Whether the song calls for area dancing or line of dance, Ballroomin' is a social dance, and we LOVE the way a full dance floor flows.
So the final will feature 3 all-skates. Finalist rotate partners between songs yet again, with Leads and Follows judged individually!
JUDGES:
The judging panel will be made up of your organizers and world-class instructors from the weekend, and a few special guests!
MUSIC:
All Ballroomin' Blues, provided by your head DJ in prelims and by the K-Night Owls featuring Taryn Newborne for Finals!
CRITERIA:
For both prelims and finals, we're looking for good, solid ballroomin' blues. We're looking for YOUR dancing.
So you'll be judged on
ELIGIBILITY:
Everyone who holds a full weekend pass or dance pass is eligible! Since this is an Open competition, anyone and everyone can compete!

When & Where Should I Go?
Prelims
The competitors' meeting for the prelims will be held SATURDAY MORNING at 11:50 (DON'T BE LATE), and the competition will take place shortly thereafter at Alabama A&M Student Recreation Center, Chase Rd NW Huntsville, AL 35811 ahead of classes that day.
Finals
Finals competitors' meeting will be during the FIRST BAND BREAK (Likely around 9:45pm) Saturday Evening at Huntsville Ballroom.
The Finals will be held during the SECOND BAND BREAK Saturday night at Huntsville Ballroom.
